Linton Middle School's Heartfelt Mentor Appreciation
Over the past two days, Dr. Robinson and YESS Team member Miss Nia guided over 30 eighth-grade students in delivering a special gift to someone of their choosing. About a month ago, an idea was hatched to create t-shirts that allow our kids to give thanks to someone in the building who has truly been a mentor to them during their time at Linton.
Our students were incredibly excited to present the shirts, which say, "Thank you for being a mentor for me at Linton!" along with sweet notes to the staff. From teachers and our school nurse to paraprofessionals and more, this was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. The students were intentional in choosing their person, and many signed the shirts themselves.
The pure joy on the faces of those chosen was a sight to behold and a reminder of why we are all here. On Friday, May 17th, all the recipients will be proudly wearing their t-shirts.
This initiative has truly showcased the strong sense of community and appreciation within Linton Middle School. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this a memorable event.
