Penn Hills School District utilizes a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, which includes Response to Intervention (RTI), to address the academic and behavioral needs of all students. MTSS is a proactive, preventative framework that uses data and targeted instruction to maximize student achievement and support social, emotional, and behavioral needs. 

MTSS:
Penn Hills School District employs a comprehensive school improvement framework called MTSS, which is designed to enhance student achievement and well-being by providing tiered levels of support.
 
RTI:
Within the MTSS framework, the academic component often utilizes the Response to Intervention (RTI) model to identify students needing support and provide targeted interventions.
